About God and His Son, Jesus:
We believe in one God, the Maker of heaven and earth, Who exists in three Persons — The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, as the triune Godhead.
Gen. 1:1—2:24; Psalm 19:1; Matt. 28:18-20; Luke 3:21-22; John 1:1-4; Romans 1:20; 2 Cor. 13:14; Col. 2:9-10; 1 John 5:6-7
We believe God is a God of justice and righteous judgment, and that He is also a God of compassion and mercy.
Exodus 20:4-6; Psalm 34:8; Psalm 118:1; 2 Timothy 4:1
We believe Jesus is THE Son of God, and came to earth by being born of a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life on earth, was crucified, died and gloriously resurrected and ascended to heaven.
Matt. 1:18-23; Mark 15:33-16:20; John 1:1-3,14; John 1:29-34; Acts 2:22-28; Acts 13:28-38; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Peter 2:21-22; 1 John 3:5
We believe Jesus is THE true, promised Messiah who has fulfilled over 360 Old Testament prophecies about His virgin birth, earthly ministry, death and resurrection, all with meticulous precision, timing and accuracy — a feat impossible to have been accomplished by any other person.
Isaiah 52:13-53:12; Luke 24:44; John 4:25-26; Romans 1:2-4; Heb. 1:1-3, 8-9 (and many more references throughout the Bible)
We believe Jesus is THE only way to God, and by receiving Him as your Lord and Savior, you are assured of eternal life.
John 3:16; John 6:40; John 10:10; John 14:6; 1 Timothy 2:3-6; 1 Peter 3:18
We believe in the imminent, soon return of Jesus to this earth, and that He will bring into His presence those who have received Jesus into their hearts and are awaiting His appearing.
Matt. 24:27; Matt. 24:30-44; 2 Tim. 4:8
About the Bible:
We believe the ENTIRE Bible is THE True Word of God, and that the 66 books of the Bible are totally, wholly complete and divinely inspired by God.
Psalm 19:7; Matt. 5:17-18; Matt. 24:35; John 17:17; 2 Tim. 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe the Scriptures make it clear that if anyone adds to or detracts from God’s Holy Word, they do so at their own peril and risk.
Deut. 4:1-2; Prov. 30:5-6; Jer. 36:1-32; Rev. 22:18-19
We believe the Bible is God’s manual for successful living and contains a wealth of wisdom that if civilizations would make better use of this treasure, they would be much better off.
Exodus 20:2-17; Deut. 28:1-14; Psalm 119:105; Prov. 3:5-8; Heb. 4:12-13
We believe there are two births — by water, that is, the natural birth from the mother’s womb, and by the spirit, that is, being born-again by placing one’s trust and belief in Jesus Christ, and asking for God’s forgiveness of one’s sins and receiving Jesus into one’s heart as Lord and Savior. This is true salvation — the assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ, which is God’s greatest, most precious gift to those who receive Him.
John 1:12-13; John 3:3; John 11:25-27; John 17:3; Rom. 1:16; Rom. 10:9-10; 2 Cor. 5:17
We believe salvation cannot be earned and is not a result of good works, but is a gift from God through His Son Jesus, and that we are given a free will to either receive or reject this most precious gift, and the result of each person’s decision in this crucial matter has eternal implications and consequences.
John 3:36; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8-9; 1 John 5:12-13
We believe God gave each person a free will to exercise, and as such, each person is given the choice to either accept Christ and enjoy eternal life, or reject Christ and suffer eternal damnation. We believe it is God’s desire that none should perish eternally, and that it is the Heavenly Father’s heart’s desire that each person on planet earth be given the opportunity to hear the Gospel Message that Jesus saves.
Luke 24:46-47; Rom. 10:14-17; 2 Peter 3:9
About the Baptism of the Holy Spirit:
We believe those who are born-again may also receive another precious gift from God, and that is the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, which is available to those who ask for it, and which is encouraged in the Bible. The baptism in the Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live a victorious Christian life that is honoring and pleasing to God.
Mark 16:17; John 16:5-11; Acts 1:4-5, 8; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 19:1-6 Rom. 8:26; 1 Cor. 14:5
About Water Baptism:
We believe water baptism by full immersion is a beautiful testimony and outward manifestation of a believer’s decision and commitment to follow Christ and to be in union with the Lord Jesus in His death, burial and resurrection. We believe that every believer needs to be water baptized as commanded in the Scriptures.
Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4-5
We believe regular partaking of the Communion Table is a powerful way for believers to remember the Father’s most precious gift, His Son, Jesus, who became the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross, that through His shed blood, we can experience the cleansing of our sin, and through His broken body, we can receive healing. We believe partaking of Communion is in fulfillment of the command as mentioned in the Scriptures.
Matt. 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:15-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-26
About the Local Church:
We believe it is vitally important for every believer to be in unity with other believers, both at large in the body of Christ and as part of a local congregation where Jesus is taught as the Way, the Truth and the Life.
John 17:20-23; Acts 2:46-47; 1 Cor. 3:16-17; Eph. 2:12-19; Heb. 10:24-25; 1 John 1:7
We believe the Scriptures teach it is imperative that each believer be accountable in their life and conduct before God and come under the spiritual covering of their Pastor and by doing so, reap tremendous benefits, including God’s divine protection, wisdom and blessings.
Eph. 1:15-23; Eph. 2:19-22; Heb. 3:6; Heb. 13:17; 1 Peter 5:1-7
About the Father’s Heart of Love:
We believe God is a good God, and that every good gift is from the Heavenly Father who desires to bless His children.
Psalm 100:5; Matt. 7:8-11; Rom. 6:23; James 1:17
We believe God is love, and that His heart’s desire is to share His love with anyone who will receive His healing love.
Luke 15:11-32; Rom. 8:38-39; 1 John 4:7-10; 1 John 4:15-16
We believe God displayed the ultimate form of love when He first loved us before we even loved Him, and by giving His One and Only Son, Jesus, as the Redeemer to save us from our sins.
John 3:16; John 15:12-15; Rom. 5:8; 1 John 4:9-11; 1 John 4:19
We believe it is God’s desire to have fellowship with us and as we develop whole-hearted devotion to Him, we can have an intimate relationship with God and learn and experience the warmth of the Father’s heart of love towards us.
Matt. 6:5-13; Luke 10:38-42; John 14:21-24; 2 Cor. 6:17-18
About Practical Ministry:
We believe good works ought to flow naturally from a person who receives Jesus into his/her heart, and desires to share the Good News of Jesus with others in practical ways, in an attitude of love for God and love for people.
Matt. 5:16; Matt. 22:37-40; Eph. 2:8-12; Heb. 10:24-25
About God’s Purpose and Destiny for Each Person:
We believe each person is created in God’s image and is therefore an incalculably precious and valuable living human being, from the point of conception onward.
Gen. 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-16; Jer. 1:4-5; Matt. 6:25-33; Matt. 10:29-31
We believe God has an eternal purpose and special destiny for each individual, and that He has given each and every person special gifts and talents to facilitate the accomplishment of this important goal, to the glory of God.
Jer. 29:11-13; Rom. 12:1-8; 1 Cor. 12:18-28; 1 Tim. 4:11-16; 2 Tim. 1:6-7
We believe God has commissioned each and every believer to go forth and share the Good News that Jesus saves, heals and delivers, and to make disciples — that is, to train believers to be followers of Christ.
Matt. 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18; Luke 24:44-49; Acts 1:5,8
We believe it is God’s desire we follow His commandments, that is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, and to love our fellow human being with the love that God gives to us.
Lev. 19:18; Deut. 6:4-5; Matt. 22:37-39; 1 John 3:23
We believe the ultimate, intended purpose for which mankind was created is to worship God and to have fellowship with Him, now and forever.
1 Chron. 16:29; Psalm 9:1-2; Psalm 95:6; Psalm 100:1-4; John 4:23-24
About Healing and Health:
We believe Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that He is still very much healing people TODAY, as He did 2,000 years ago when He walked this earth.
Matt. 14:14; Mark 16:15-18; Heb. 13:8
We believe it is God’s desire that we live a life that is holy and pleasing unto God, even as Jesus led a holy life, and that whatever we do — in word, deed, thought, and what we eat or drink — is to be done in a manner that would bring honor and glory to the Lord Jesus.
Rom. 12:1-2; 1 Cor. 10:31; Col. 1:10; Heb. 12:1-2; Heb. 13:20-21; 1 John 3:22-23
We believe God created us a triune being, in spirit, mind and body, and that it is God’s desire that we be healed and walk in divine health in all three areas.
Gen. 1:26-27; Exodus 15:26; Exodus 23:25; Psalm 103:1-5; Psalm 147:3; Prov. 3:5-8; Isaiah 26:3; Isaiah 53:4-5; Jer. 30:17; Matt. 8:17; John 3:3; Rom. 10:9-13; Rom. 12:2; II Cor. 5:17-21; Eph. 6:1-3; 2 Tim. 1:7; 3 John 2
We believe God wants us to take personal responsibility for the one body God has given each person to live out one’s life on earth as fully as possible for His glory, so as not to “die before one’s time”. We also believe practicing good wellness habits is an important way for a person to keep (maintain) their healing.
(See Proverbs 18:9 and the accompanying footnote found specifically in the Amplified Bible; also see 1 Cor. 6:19-20)
We believe God is a God of “our part” and “His part”, that is, when we do our part — by living a life pleasing to God by trusting in Him, obeying His Word in our daily living, and following His wellness principles, we will experience God’s blessings of divine healing and health, optimum wellness and protection.
Exodus 15:26; Deut. 28:1-14; 2 Chron. 7:14; Isaiah 58:6-8; Malachi 4:2; Prov. 3:5-8; Heb. 11:6; James 5:14-16
We believe it is important to diligently study and learn about the wellness tools the Lord has given us to use, and to follow the exemplary habit of the Bereans in checking to make sure what is being taught is true to God’s Word, the Bible. We believe this is vitally important in these current times whereby many wellness teachings are based on belief systems that do not conform to the standard of God’s Word.
Acts 17:10-11; Eph. 4:13-15; Col. 2:8; 2 Tim. 2:15; 2 Tim. 4:1-5
We believe that God wants you well so that you can fulfill the exciting destiny He has planned especially for you!
3 John 2; Jeremiah 29:11-13
