SCRIPTURES ON HEALING
When we obey God’s Word and follow His guidelines (see Exodus 15:26), we can experience His abundant blessings of healing in our spirit, mind and body — and even be used of God to heal the sick in the Name of Jesus.
From Genesis to Revelation, there are well over 135 Scriptural references of “healing” and related words listed in Strong’s Concordance.
Psalm 119:89 declares, "Forever, O LORD, Your word is settled in heaven." That means God's Word is not limited by time. It is eternal, never failing!
Below is a sampling of Scriptures for healing the spirit, mind and body to look up in your Bible and meditate (or as Frances Hunter says, "medicate"), as well as verses that will help give you a "faith boost" to get your "expectors" up and believe God for your miracle, "for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully" (I Peter 5:7).
As you "medicate" on these precious promises, ponder the fact that Jesus took our sins AND sicknesses upon Himself through the finished work of the Cross.
We no longer need to bear these burdens, but give them to the Burden Bearer.
His name is Jesus — our Savior, Lord, Master and Healer!
Unless otherwise stated, the Scripture on this page is taken from the New King James Version of the Bible.
The Scripture verses containing the words of our precious Savior and Lord Jesus are in red.
TIP: A good exercise is to HEAR yourself read the following healing Scriptures OUT LOUD. This will help get these precious promises deep down into your spirit and boost your faith to receive your healing, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Hallelujah!

__ Philippians 3:13-14 — ".....One thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."
__ Philippians 4:6-7 — Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
__ Philippians 4:8 — ".....Whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things."
__ Philippians 4:19 — And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
__ 2 Timothy 1:7 — For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
__ Hebrews 4:14-16 (New Living Translation) — So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet He did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.
__ Hebrews 10:23-25, 35 (New Living Translation) — Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise.....So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!
__ Hebrews 11:6 — But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
__ Hebrews 11:11 (Amplified Bible) — Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.
__ Hebrews 12:1-2 — Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
__ Hebrews 12:15 (New Living Translation) — Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.

__ 1 Peter 2:24 (Amplified Bible) — He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
__ 1 Peter 5:6-7 (Amplified Bible) — Therefore humble yourselves [demote, lower yourselves in your own estimation] under the mighty hand of God, that in due time He may exalt you, casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
__ 2 Peter 1:2-3 (New Living Translation) — May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.
